VIBGYOR set a target of setting up 6 schools in 2019-20, against their usual 2-3 schools a year. Till June, progress was negligible and the general feeling was that none will come on time. Post-admission the due-date for next session start (April) is sacrosanct.

Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) embarked on a transformative journey in 2021, unveiling an audacious INR 18,000 Cr capital expenditure plan aimed at doubling the capacity of its  Angul plant from 6 MTPA to 12 MTPA by FY'24. The projects included HSM, Slab Caster, RMHS, Oxygen plant, Central Utility. Throughout execution, JSOL faced unforeseen challenges including discovering new project scope, navigating through multiple monsoons, managing the impacts of COVID pandemic, addressing severe resource shortages in civil and structural works and delays in designs and supplies.

• HSM project was completed in 29 months, a record in compared to similar projects done elsewhere.

Everest Industry is one of India’s leading building material manufacturer. They  engaged Realization to increase their throughput.

Delhi Metro rail Corporation’s (DMRC) Overhead Metro Rail Expansion Projects.

JRL is one of the leading real-estate developers in North India. In Sonipat, the projects included student hostels, Independent floors, villas and plots, community infrastructure etc. Shortage of precast material and various resources, conflicting priorities and unreliable projections were some of the challenges that caused delays in these projects.

The project is scheduled for completion by 2026 and production is scheduled to start in 2027. The project is aligned with Oman's commitment to reaching Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

Vulcan owns and operates Africa's largest coalmine at Moatize. Vulcan took a challenging target of 3x increase in met coal production in 14 months, managing 17 projects. The major risks foreseen were resource and material shortages, start-and-stop execution, conflicting priorities and lack of reliable projection.

Results

• First project was delivered in 260 days, against projection of 340 days. 

• Second project was delivered, with significantly more scope, in 135 days. 

• Both the shutdowns for tie-ins were completed on-time.

Greenfield Iron Ore Mine at Kirbi(Cameroon) with re-development of existing port, beneficiation plant and logistics infrastructure.

‍Realization is engaged to analyse and plan for the shortest possible time to operationalise the mine and associated infrastructure.

Right at the start, the retreating monsoons and its impact on the site, held up work for nearly 3 months.

Due to the location of the project, mobilizing civil manpower was a major challenge. Following the impact of weather, we could only mobilize 30% of the required resources.

Apart from these major factors, we faced the usual weather, festival issues, late discovery of scope, delays in drawings etc. that typically amplifies the delays.

Yet, CPL recovered, and the first board was produced in 16.5 months, only 2.5 months beyond the original target.

₹3500 Cr worth of water supply projects under Jal Jeevan Mission, spread over 1500 schemes across UP. Lack of visibility of the entire portfolio was the biggest concern.
Realization has established complete visibility through Streamliner within 2 months.

Delivery of 4 brand new schools in 2024-25 and enhancement of existing ones through brownfield development.
